Vegan Reese's peanut butter cups  Before Halloween comes to an end you need to try these Frankenstein Reese's peanut butter cups!  Reese's  is probably my favorite candy of all time. I find the peanut butter and chocolate to be the perfect combination whenever my sweet tooth hits. I find Plant based Reese's to be overpriced and hard to find, that's why I decided to make them myself.   They are super duper easy to make and are a super tasty treat. No baking required. Ingredients: Dark chocolate chips : Most chocolate that is 70% cacao or higher is vegan but double check to make sure.  Powdered sugar Peanut butter:  Use a smooth peanut butter I’m using Skippy peanut butter to get that classic recess flavor.  Vegan white chocolate or vegan yogurt:  Vegan chocolate is rare to find so if you can’t find it you can use vegan yogurt as a substitute. Note: your freezing time will be longer.    Green matcha: To make the choco...

Plant based Nutella  Unfortunately plant based Nutella still isn't a thing here in the U.S, but the good news is you can easily make your own. Nutella is basically a chocolate  hazelnut spread with tons of sugar inside.  You can s pread it on toast, put it inside croissants ,  on top of strawberries or just eat it off the spoon!  Why is Nutella not vegan? Nutella contains skim milk powder which is not vegan. What you will need: Hazelnuts Sugar: You can sub for maple syrup/ agave but keep in mind you're Nutella may get more firmer/ stiffer. Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate Chips  Plant Based Milk- For this recipe I'm adding soy milk but you can use any plant based milk. Cacao Powder  Salt: To intensify the chocolate flavor! Step 1 : S pread the hazelnuts on to a baking sheet and p reheat your oven to 350 degrees. If raw, roast the hazlenuts for a total of 10 minutes. If already roasted, roast for 6 minutes to loosen the skins and make it easier to b...

Vegan California Rolls  I'm gonna be honest I wasn't a fan of vegan sushi until I made these vegan California rolls. They are a 10/10!  Better than the real thing. Yes, really!  This recipe is straightforward and easy to follow.   The best part is there is no frying or baking involved just chop, toss and mix everything together!  Ingredients to make vegan crab:  Canned Hearts of Palm:  most of you are probably unfamiliar with hearts of palm including myself until I tried it this year. It is a healthy vegetable that comes from the core of certain palm trees which contain seventeen different amino acids as well as minerals. They have a flaky like texture perfect for this crab recipe!  Gerbanzo beans Veggies:  Red peppers, onion and celery sticks  Seaweed  Panko breadcrumbs: Panko breadcrumb are perfect in this recipe to make the vegan crab less soggy. Sauces  Seasonings  How to make vegan crab: Step 1: Chop hearts of palm in...
